Job summary

TikTok is offering a Project Intern position within its content safety team. You will support the optimization of moderation workflows, contribute to metric development, and help iterate LIVE Safety features while learning from a fast-paced, globally growing tech company.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Undergraduate degree in CS/Analytics/IT with strong communication skills, and a foundational understanding of safety and product concepts.

Qualifications

• Undergrad in CS/analytics/IT or related field pursuing studies.
• Commit to 5 days/week for at least 6 months.
• Foundational understanding of safety, product management or design.
• Basic proficiency with analytical tools and data awareness.
• Good communication with cross-functional teammates to clarify pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in optimizing and revamping the Human Moderation queue and related workflows.
• Help build and refine metric frameworks for review efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to LIVE Safety product features and governance workflows.
• Identify risk points and bottlenecks in moderation systems through data and feedback.
