Job summary

TikTok is seeking interns for the Trust and Safety engineering team to help protect users from harmful content. The internship provides hands-on experience across content moderation systems, rule engines, strategy systems, feature engines, human moderation platforms, and risk insight platforms, with opportunities to work with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should be pursuing an Undergraduate or Master degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related disciplines, able to commit 12

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2027.
• Prior experience working with languages like Go/Python/PHP/C++/C/Java.
• Strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trust and Safety experts, machine learning engineers, and other cross-functional teams on delivering key results.
• Design technical solutions with team members.
• Implement technical solutions to support business requirements.
