Job description

About The Role

Jeppesen ForeFlight is looking for an exceptional writer and content marketing professional with a passion for aviation and a talent for producing engaging, effective B2B content to support our Business Aviation market. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B content marketing, preferably within aviation, software, or technology, along with strong writing and technical communication skills. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating content across a variety of formats, including website product pages, email campaigns, sales presentations and collateral, blog articles, customer case studies, video scripts, advertising copy, and social media posts. This role will work closely with our Business Aviation product and marketing teams to develop content that communicates product value, supports customer engagement, and contributes to lead generation and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is also comfortable working with marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot, to develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns and nurture programs for B2B audiences. Our fast pace of development and highly technical products require someone who is an enthusiastic learner, eager to dive into new features, understand customer workflows, and work with subject matter experts to turn detailed product information into clear, useful content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support marketing and communications for the Business Aviation market by creating content for website pages, email campaigns, printed collateral, event signage, presentations, social media posts, blog articles, video scripts, advertising, and other marketing initiatives.

  • Create, stage, and manage email content in HubSpot, including writing and updating copy for B2B marketing campaigns, newsletters, and nurture programs.

  • Build, edit, and publish landing pages in HubSpot using existing templates and modules, so pages are on brand, functional, and optimized for conversion.

  • Work closely with Business Aviation product managers, product marketing, and other internal teams to understand product capabilities, customer needs, and key differentiators, translating technical information into clear, customer-focused messaging.

  • Create content that supports B2B lead generation, customer engagement, and sales efforts, including white papers, case studies, product materials, and other resources for different stages of the buyer's journey.

  • Support the sales team by creating, editing, and updating sales collateral, presentations, product materials, and other content that helps communicate product value to prospective and existing customers.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support integrated campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives that drive awareness and pipeline growth.

  • Interview and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, customers, and industry professionals to develop accurate and engaging content.

  • Conduct thorough copy editing and proofreading of marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging.

  • Manage content through the review and approval process across product, marketing, and sales stakeholders.

  • Monitor content and email campaign performance, using insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize future marketing efforts.

  • Work with the content team to develop creative concepts and templates for various marketing materials.

  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in content marketing and copywriting, preferably in a B2B environment within aviation, software, or technology.

  • Strong writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and marketing channels.

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms, including building and executing email campaigns, audience segmentation, and nurture programs. HubSpot experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience creating B2B marketing content that supports lead generation, customer engagement, and sales enablement.

  • Ability to understand technical products and translate detailed product information into clear, customer-focused content.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product teams, sales, subject matter experts, and other marketing stakeholders.

  • A strong eye for design, with the ability to collaborate with designers and judge how layout, imagery, and copy work together across web pages, emails, and collateral.

  • Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude to support research, drafting, editing, and content workflows, with the judgment to verify accuracy and keep the brand voice consistent.

  • Business Aviation experience or industry knowledge is preferred.

  • Strong speaking and writing skills in English required; additional language skills preferred.
