Job summary

Axon is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to help tell our story across product launches, customer stories, campaigns, events, and thought leadership. You’ll translate complex technology into compelling narratives that resonate with customers, partners, and the public.

You will partner with Product, Customer Marketing, Brand, Events, Design, and leadership to develop messaging and content that aligns with Axon's mission.

Qualifications

• This role requires 3+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, journalism, copywriting, or related fields.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio across formats and audiences.
• Experience developing messaging for product launches, integrated campaigns, or thought leadership.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible customer stories.
• Strong editorial judgment and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Excellent project management with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling content across formats: product launch messaging, campaigns, customer stories, articles, websites, social copy, and video scripts.
• Develop messaging frameworks with Product, Brand, and leadership to communicate Axon's products and mission effectively.
• Transform complex technical concepts into engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
• Identify opportunities to tell stronger stories across the customer journey.
• Create editorial content supporting launches, campaigns, events, and always-on marketing.
• Push creative thinking with fresh formats and ideas to differentiate Axon.
• Maintain high quality and consistency with Axon's voice across all content.
• Contribute to messaging strategy while remaining deeply involved in execution.
