Job summary

M+C Saatchi World Services is seeking a strategic Content Manager to oversee planning, governance, development, and optimization of content across federal programs. You will work at the intersection of content strategy, digital publishing, and audience engagement to ensure accurate, accessible, and effective content across platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, experience with content operations, and a passion for audience-centered communications in a hybrid DMV region

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, Content Strategy, or related field preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content organization skills.
• Experience managing content operations and editorial processes across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead content planning, governance, and coordination across digital, print, social, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with strategists, writers, designers, UX specialists, and stakeholder teams to support campaigns.
• Manage content lifecycles from ideation through publication, optimization, maintenance, and retirement.
• Implement and maintain content governance processes, workflows, and QA practices.
• Conduct content audits to evaluate accuracy, relevance, accessibility, and performance.
• Maintain content inventories, metadata, taxonomy, and structured content for discoverability.
