Job Title: CMS Developer / SDL Engineer

Client Location: Seattle, WA (Remote OK – PST Time Zone Preferred)

Contract Duration: 10 Months

Work Authorization: Open to all visa types

Work Hours: Must work PST business hours

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Content Management System (CMS) Developer / SDL Engineer to support a Seattle-based client in enhancing and managing their SDL Tridion Sites and Docs platforms. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with SDL (Tridion) Sites and Docs, plugin development, and publishing pipelines, alongside strong backend development skills using Node.js, TypeScript, and C#.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage content types in SDL Tridion Sites and contribute to the publishing pipeline.
• Design, build, and maintain custom plugins and extensions for SDL Sites and SDL Docs.
• Work with SDL Docs Cloud, including integration of custom metadata and publishing plugins.
• Create and extend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Write clean, scalable code and contribute to C#-based backend development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver CMS capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMS issues across SDL environments.
• Utilize Azure cloud services for deployment, hosting, or integration.
• Optional: Contribute to Adobe AEM-based content systems if needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with SDL Tridion (Sites and Docs)
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong backend development skills with C#
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environment
• Understanding of Headless CMS architecture and principles

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Adobe AEM
• Knowledge of modern front-end technologies or frameworks
• Previous work on headless CMS or hybrid CMS implementations

Working Conditions:

• Fully remote, must work in Pacific Time (PST) business hours
• Open to candidates across the U.S. or internationally (as long as PST alignment is maintained)
