Purpose

The Content Management RAMP Student Associate supports the daily operations of the Processing and Acquisitions Units through processing of the physical materials.

Responsibilities
  • Perform end processing for library physical resources by applying UTL stamps, security strips, spine labels, and other processing elements as required.

  • Unpack and process materials in the library management system and route materials to appropriate locations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Current UT Austin student with a Federal Work Study award

  • Detail oriented and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity working in a library environment

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Rate of Pay

$14.00 per hour

Working Conditions
  • Typical office and library environment

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Work Shift
  • 10 hours per week

  • Work hours can be scheduled Monday-Friday, between 8am-6pm

  • Work must be done on-site in the Perry Castañeda Library (PCL)
