Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Licensing Partnerships Manager to oversee day-to-day licensing relationships, technical onboarding, and growth of a partner portfolio. You will act as the primary Dow Jones contact for publishers and licensors, driving content licensing, integration, and commercial optimization for Dow Jones products.

You will lead negotiations, renewals, onboarding, and cross-functional coordination with product, legal, finance, marketing, and sales to maximize partner value and growth

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the media landscape and technologies serving those communities.
• Ability to inject AI into daily workflow to drive efficiencies.
• Proven experience in business negotiations and relationship management.
• 7+ years of experience in partnerships, account management, or content licensing within media or information services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new publishers; pitch participation in Dow Jones’ offerings; negotiate and close deals.
• Serve as primary contact for international media partners; ensure their needs are met and value realized.
• Own renewal cycles for assigned partners; maintain high retention through proactive problem-solving.
• Manage onboarding for licensors, including payment setup, invoicing, and initial account configuration.
• Monitor partner usage to ensure licensing terms are followed.
• Coordinate with internal tech teams to deliver content via APIs or feeds; ensure smooth ingestion into Dow Jones products.
• Maintain meticulous records in systems for partner data, contacts, and contract notes.
• Acquire new content to power Dow Jones B2B products and align value propositions with partners.
