Job summary

Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a Content Lead for Elem ELA to provide district-level leadership in curriculum, instruction, and assessment and to support teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators. The role focuses on alignment of curriculum with data-informed practices and equity-focused pedagogy.

The position includes designing and delivering professional learning for content teams, collaborating with district staff, and supporting equitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Standard Teaching License with three years of teaching experience in content area (CRCS preferred)
• Experience with designing and conducting professional learning for adults

Responsibilities

• Provide district-level leadership and support for curriculum, instruction, and assessment
• Design, present, and facilitate adult learning experiences
• Lead professional learning aligned to district and building needs
• Collaborate with Curriculum Coordinators, Program Leads, District Coaches and Administrators to support district goals
