Job summary

Strategic Employment Partners seeks a Content Editor & Documentation Specialist to own editorial quality across the organization. The role balances polishing content written by others with creating original technical documentation, including release notes and help content.

You will be the primary editor for customer-facing materials, collaborating with marketing and engineering to ensure accuracy and consistency, while building new content standards as the second hire in a growing function.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dedicated editing, writing, or technical documentation experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong independent research and systematic problem-solving ability.
• Comfort splitting time between editing (about half) and original writing (about half).

Responsibilities

• Edit and maintain website content, product documentation, newsletters, and customer communications.
• Write original technical and product documentation, including release notes and help content.
• Coordinate with marketing and engineering to preserve technical accuracy.
• Maintain editorial standards for grammar, style, and branding across all published materials.
