Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Content Developer I to author and develop service content, including safety information, and to assist with CCMS implementation. You will create and maintain style guides for global use and collaborate across departments to ensure content quality.

Qualifications

Content Developer I

Content Developer I

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years' related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Technical Communications or related field with experience in technical writing
• Skilled in visual and written information development
• Good written/verbal communications, organizational and listening skills, and strong in grammar rules
• Experience in authoring technical content for a Global market would be a plus
• Knowledge of DITA/XML content authoring and component content management systems
• Effective research, problem solving and decision making skills
• Experience with oXygen, Author/Editor, Acrolinx, Ovitas CLS, and In Design
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Frame Maker, and PTC IsoDraw and other multimedia production software
