Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Content Designer III within the Experience Design (XD) team to shape product content strategy and blend UX writing with storytelling across Expedia and Insurance experiences.

You will join a worldwide cross-disciplinary group and contribute to end-to-end experiences that serve travelers and partners. Strong advocacy for human-centered design and accessibility will guide your work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX writer, or Content Strategist.
• Ability to audit, analyze, structure, create, and design content independently.
• Strong skills in presenting compelling rationale and narratives behind content strategies to stakeholders.
• Expertise in persuasion and negotiation with stakeholders to create optimal experiences.
• Experience applying human-centered design practices to product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design content solutions for onboarding, in-app education, transactional flows, and notifications.
• Apply information architecture methods and UI frameworks to design scalable content solutions.
• Audit, analyze, structure, create, and present UX content across the product experience.
• Partner with product and research teams to drive content tests and log content bugs.
• Apply a cohesive content strategy for the loyalty programme across product areas.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive content solutions.
• Improve accessibility, inclusion, readability, and translatability of product content.
• Communicate rationale clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to design best experiences.
