Job summary

WallCandy is seeking a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to own day-to-day content, social presence, and influencer marketing for our Austin-based brand.

You’ll brainstorm, film, edit, post, and analyze what works, while also supporting broader marketing initiatives and coordinating creator partnerships.

This role offers creative freedom and requires on-camera work, including street interviews around Austin as WallCandy grows.

Qualifications

• Have previously created and posted TikToks/Reels (required).
• Examples of short-form content you’ve filmed and edited.
• Genuinely understand TikTok/Instagram culture.
• Comfortable filming yourself and others.
• Outgoing for street interviews and authentic storytelling.
• Strong portfolio matters more than years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Film, edit and post TikToks and Instagram Reels.
• Develop original content concepts and formats for WallCandy.
• Identify trends, sounds and formats to participate in.
• Create product-focused, lifestyle and personality-driven content.
• Conduct street interviews around Austin and college campuses.
• Write captions and publish content across platforms.
• Maintain a consistent content pipeline with frequent posts.
• Own WallCandy’s organic TikTok and Instagram presence.
• Engage with comments and the WallCandy community.
• Monitor performance and iterate content based on insights.
• Coordinate influencer gifting and creator partnerships.
• Support marketing initiatives including launches and campaigns.
