Job summary

Netflix seeks a Content Accountant to join the Hollywood-based Content Account Management group. The role focuses on ensuring financial integrity of content income, expenses, and related assets, with emphasis on data analysis and accurate journal postings in Excel.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 3 years of experience, and proficiency with Excel Pivot Tables. CPA is preferred, and the team collaborates across legal, licensing, tax, and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance required.
• CPA license preferred if possible.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience relevant to the role.
• Strong Excel Pivot Tables skills and data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing tasks (cash receipts and closings).
• Review royalties reports from licensees and determine rationale.
• Review and document customer product contracts and interpret terms.
• Develop processes and participate in system design and testing.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, licensing, tax, and engineering teams.
