Job summary

CPG is seeking a Containment Installer II in Tempe, AZ to assist in installing and handling materials from receiving dock to the working area. Training on installation processes and material knowledge will be provided.

You will work with field teams to ensure proper system layout and secure mounting hardware. The role requires basic mechanical skills, the ability to lift and maneuver materials, and a commitment to safety while collaborating with technicians and supervisors to meet installation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 3–5 years mechanical experience preferred.
• No data center experience required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Install containment systems, including panels and doors, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand and power tools to assemble components and secure parts.
• Follow work instructions for proper layout, alignment, and fit.
• Measure and cut materials to fit designated areas accurately.
• Inspect installations for proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installs on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and issues to the project lead.

TITLE: Containment Installer II

LOCATION: Tempe, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY: A Containment Installer II is responsible for assisting in installing and material handling of product from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.

• Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma
• 03-5 Years Mechanical experience preferred but not required
• No previous data center experience needed

Computer Skills

• Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus
