Job summary

CGP Data Center and Cloud Solutions is seeking a Containment Installer I at our Tempe, AZ location. You will assist in installing and handling materials from receiving to the work area while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of containment systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 0–2 years of mechanical experience; basic hand/power tool use and physical stamina are essential. Safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY: A Containment Installer I is responsible for assisting in installing and material handling of product from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of material.

• Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
