Job summary

CPG in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Containment Installer II to assist in installing and handling materials from receiving dock to working area, training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of containment systems.

You will install containment panels, doors, ceilings, use hand tools, measure and cut, inspect installations, and collaborate with technicians to complete projects on schedule while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years mechanical experience preferred but not required.
  • No data center experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install containment systems (panels, doors, ceilings and mounting hardware).
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure components.
  • Follow work instructions for proper layout and alignment.
  • Measure and cut materials to fit designated areas.
  • Inspect installations for fit, function and alignment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
  • Report material needs and installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.

TITLE: Containment Installer II
LOCATION

Tempe, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Containment Installer II is responsible for assisting in installing and material handling of product from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
  • Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
  • Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
  • Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
  • Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 03-5 Years Mechanical experience preferred but not required
  • No previous data center experience needed
Computer Skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus
