Job summary

CPG is seeking a Containment Installer II in Tempe, AZ. You will assist in installing containment systems and handling materials from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, assembling, inspecting installations, and collaborating with team members to stay on schedule. Required are basic mechanical skills and the ability to lift 10–50 lbs, with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely for installation tasks.
  • Must be physically able to lift 10–50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Install containment systems including panels, doors, ceilings and hardware.
  • Use basic tools to assemble and secure components according to specs.
  • Follow work instructions for accurate layout and alignment.
  • Measure and cut materials to fit within designated areas.
  • Inspect finished installations for proper fit and function.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and supervision to meet deadlines.
  • Report material needs and progress to project lead or site supervisor.

TITLE: Containment Installer II

LOCATION: Tempe, AZ

POSITION SUMMARY: A Containment Installer II is responsible for assisting in installing and material handling of product from receiving dock to working area, while training on installation processes and gaining knowledge of material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
  • Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
  • Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
  • Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
  • Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.

  • Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 03-5 Years Mechanical experience preferred but not required
  • No previous data center experience needed
Computer Skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus
