Job summary

CPG is seeking a Containment Installer III to handle day-to-day installation of containment materials under the supervision of the site lead. This position operates on a remote 3/1 rotation and requires prior containment experience.

The role emphasizes safe use of basic hand and power tools, adherence to installation instructions, and coordination with technicians to meet project timelines while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.

TITLE: Containment Installer III

LOCATION: Remote 3/1 rotation

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Containment Installer III is responsible for the day-to-day installation of containment materials, following clear direction from the site supervisor while maintaining the assigned work schedule. This individual will have prior containment experience of a minimum of 1 year

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
• Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, measuring tape) to assemble and secure components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure proper system layout and alignment.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit within designated areas.
• Inspect and test completed installations to ensure proper fit, function, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete installations on schedule.
• Report material needs, progress updates, and any installation issues to the project lead or site supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in construction, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus
• Education/Experience:
• High School diploma
• 1-3 years mechanical experience required
• 1-2 years data center experience required
• Must be a US Citizen

Computer Skills:

Knowledge in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook is a plus
