Job Details

Title: Container Security Engineer/IT Security Sr Tech Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL

Type: Contract (C2C/1099)

Department: Tech Infra & Security Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate secure container solutions using tools like GKE, ASM/Istio
• Collaborate with Cloud Security and DevOps teams to develop and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Implement CWPP solutions with Prisma Cloud (required) and Wiz (preferred)
• Develop automation scripts in Bash, Python, PowerShell
• Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and NIST guidelines
• Draft migration plans, security playbooks, and conduct risk assessments
• Work with cross-functional teams including architecture, operations, and vendors

Required Skills

• Expertise in Kubernetes, container security, and GCP
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with Prisma Cloud (mandatory) and Wiz (preferred)
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Knowledge of Splunk and monitoring solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and compliance standards
