We are looking for an experienced Container Loading Operator with hands‑on experience in LCL and FCL ocean freight operations.

This position is responsible for the physical preparation, handling, loading, organization, and securing of cargo inside ocean containers, ensuring shipments are loaded accurately, safely, and efficiently according to established operational procedures and instructions from the Warehouse Manager.

What You'll Do

• Load LCL and FCL ocean containers according to established loading plans and schedules.
• Prepare, organize, and position cargo for container loading based on destination, shipment, dimensions, weight, and loading requirements.
• Properly distribute and position cargo inside 20' and 40' containers.
• Maximize available container space while maintaining safe and stable cargo distribution.
• Verify cargo quantities, condition, markings, and shipment information before and during loading.
• Properly secure and protect cargo inside the container to prevent movement or damage during transportation.
• Verify container numbers and seals and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
• Handle cargo safely using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Load and unload cargo from trucks and containers as required.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe loading area.
• Follow daily loading schedules and operational instructions provided by the Warehouse Manager.
• Report damaged cargo, shortages, overages, discrepancies, or other operational issues promptly.
• Assist the warehouse team with general warehouse and freight handling activities when required.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in container loading, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, ocean freight, or export operations.
• Hands‑on experience with both LCL and FCL shipments – required.
• Previous experience physically loading ocean containers.
• Knowledge of 20' and 40' containers.
• Understanding of cargo consolidation, cargo distribution, and container space utilization.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents, cargo labels, dimensions, and weight information.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet scheduled loading times.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely perform physical activities associated with cargo handling and container loading.
• Ability to lift, move, and position cargo as required by the job.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
