Job summary

WM seeks a container yard worker to perform basic washing, repairing and painting of containers and to move and load containers in the yard. You will monitor inventory and ensure safe operations across site activities.

This role supports WM's operations and requires handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have at least four years of relevant experience, be comfortable with physical work, and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Safety sensitive role with adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or supervisor instructions and performs minor painting and repairs on containers.
• Performs minor container repairs, such as axle repair/replacement.
• Washes container interiors or exteriors as needed.
• Moves containers within the yard and loads/unloads from trucks.
• Performs painting duties and monitors container inventory.
• Performs general duties as required.
