AdventHealth in Maitland, FL is seeking a Full-time Scheduling Specialist to coordinate medical appointments and hospital procedures. You will engage patients, families, and staff via telephone and Teams, ensuring accurate scheduling and excellent service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of EHR systems. This on-site position offers day shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career development within a values-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical setting preferred.
• Must understand TJC requirements and regulations.

Job Description

• Proficient with computer programs: Email, PowerPoint, Excel, Word. [Required]
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management, staff, and outside vendors and patients. [Required]

• Call Center/Practice Telephonic Experience for In and Outbound calls. [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ experience as a lead role in a medical setting or other health care related role. [Preferred]
• 1+ experience as a ma-c or licensed nurse. [Preferred]
• Experience in various clinical areas inpatient or outpatient practices [Preferred]
