Job summary

Primary Health Medical Group in Boise, ID is seeking a Contact Center Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional patient-focused service. You will handle inbound calls, determine patient needs, and guide them to the right departments, while accurately entering demographics and insurance details.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality customer service on the phone.
• Determine patient needs and direct them appropriately.
• Receive, answer, and respond to telephone calls from patients and their representatives.
• Enter demographic and insurance information into the system.
• Schedule and register patients, collecting required data.
• Answer questions within scope of practice; refer other questions to the appropriate departments.
• Update insurance information as received.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Contact Center Customer Service Representative, you need to know how to:

• Have the highest quality customer service on the phone
• Determine patient needs and direct them appropriately
• Receive, answer, and respond to telephone calls from patients and their representatives
• Perform data entry of demographic and insurance information
• Schedule and register patients, including accurately collecting required data
• Answer questions and give information on the telephone within the scope of practice. Refer all other questions to the specified departments as needed.
• Update new insurance information as received
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your experience.

• Previous customer service. Healthcare experience is preferred. Electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus.
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping a professional and calm composure
