Job summary

LifeBridge Health Medical Group is seeking a scheduling agent to coordinate appointments for primary care practices. The role includes relaying messages to providers for referrals, Rx refills, and non-urgent concerns, with a Monday-Friday schedule in a HYBRID REMOTE capacity.

Training occurs in Owings Mills with in-office onboarding for about 6 weeks, then remote work possible. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, generous PTO, and parking.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in high-volume call center, medical practice front desk or scheduling experience
• Customer service experience required
• Medical terminology preferred

About the Role

• Scheduling agents schedule appointments for LifeBridge Health Medical Group primary care practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests coming into the Contact Center by phone.
• The agent handles requests in support of patients, specific provider practices, departments or other LifeBridge Health services. Requests will include appointments, prescription refills, or other provider practice associated activity including preauthorization and referral follow up.

Requirements

• Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in high-volume call center, medical practice front desk or prior medical scheduling experience. Customer service experience required. Medical terminology preferred. Shifts available: 7:30 am to 4 pm, 8 am to 4:30 pm, 8:30 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 5:30 pm. IN OFFICE TRAINING IN OWINGS MILLS FOR MINIMUM 6 WEEKS, GIVE OR TAKE. May be required to come into the office at any time after training is completed. Hybrid schedule, which may include some remote days.

Salary range $18 to $22/hour dependent on years of experience and internal equity.
