Job summary

Essenti Talent in San Francisco seeks an Associate Attorney to join its plaintiffs' litigation team handling whistleblower and consumer protection class actions. This role offers exposure to high‑impact matters and meaningful courtroom experience early on.

You will manage complex litigation from development to resolution, draft key pleadings, and handle discovery, depositions and trial preparation with senior counsel and a strong support team.

Qualifications

• Approx. 3–7 years of post-bar litigation experience preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical and research skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances and complex discovery.
• Desire to build a career as a litigator in a demanding environment.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious and adaptable to fast-paced matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage substantive portions of complex litigation from early case development through resolution.
• Draft complaints, motions and other significant pleadings.
• Handle written discovery and complex document/ESI matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work with experts and participate in trial preparation.
• Appear in court and develop meaningful first- and second-chair litigation experience.
• Collaborate closely with senior trial attorneys and a strong professional support team.
