Job summary

The Florida Office of the Attorney General is seeking a Government Analyst I to serve as the first point of contact for Floridians seeking assistance. You will review consumer complaints, research issues, communicate with the public, and connect citizens with resources in a fast-paced, public-service setting.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to route inquiries to the correct section.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional experience in systems analysis or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree and two years experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of OAG agency priorities and applicable laws.
• Route incoming correspondence promptly to correct OAG section.
• Provide verbal assistance and information to complainants about rights and resources.
• Writes concise summaries of complaints and documents data for records and trend analysis.
• Escalates non-consumer complaints needing urgent attention or law enforcement referrals.
