Job summary

• Collaborate with Product Management to meet reporting and governance standards.
• Implement scalable automated solutions to support long-term vision.
• Collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts and complete UAT.

Job description

• Perform complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to customer experience
• Use systems including Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerShell, JavaScript, Alteryx, Python, and relational databases to provide analytical support on strategies
• Evaluate data to assess potential fraud and other risks and create mitigation strategies
• Recommend ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed decisions using data analysis outputs
• Analyze financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
• Lead coordination of product performance reports and updates for senior management
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
• Work with the Product Management team to exceed business, team, and enterprise reporting and governance standards
• Implement scalable automated solutions and solve short-term business needs while supporting the long-term vision
• Collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts and complete user acceptance testing

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst, Process/Project Management, or similar role in the financial services industry
• Effectively collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and complete user acceptance testing
• Combine business acumen with analytical skills; interpret large amounts of data, synthesize analyses, and translate findings into actionable insights
• Manage multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates
• Communicate orally and in writing with team members and customers to influence outcomes
• Work independently and on team projects, executing on time and with precision
• Create, review, and monitor requirement documents supporting repeatability, business continuity, governance, and audit requirements
• Stay current with Bank of America-approved software and applications
• Expertise in two of: JavaScript, Tableau, PowerShell, SQL, Alteryx, Python, PowerQuery, VBA, Nintex
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is desired
