Responsibilities

• Resolves and prevents consumer complaints by gathering information, mediating cases, and disseminating information to appropriate parties.
• Obtains information by contacting consumers, attorneys, business owners and others via telephone and correspondence; develops questions and proposes solutions.
• Analyzes data and prepares summaries or abstracts of complaint files and documents; acts as a facilitator in cooperative mediation.
• Assists in preparation of public education materials and maintains organized complaint files.
