Qualifications

• Familiarity with consumer lending principles, policies and financial practices.
• Familiarity with credit bureau reports, Fair Credit Reporting Act and lending policies.
• Strong ability to examine information quickly and accurately.
• Ability to follow and apply guidelines, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loan applications are complete and compliant with laws and Navy Federal policies.
• Review member loan applications to determine missing information or documentation.
• Contact members for clarification and obtain additional details as needed.
• Counsel members on loan options, status and Navy Federal policies.
• Verify employment data with employers or references.
• Process and update loan information in automated systems and forward for action.
