Southwest National Bank in Wichita, KS is seeking a Consumer Loan Administrative Assistant to provide expert administrative support for loan operations. The role handles inquiries, payment processing, and documentation with accuracy and regulatory awareness.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, one year of customer service, and strong communication. The position requires weekly activity in a fast-paced banking environment and occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience.
• Ability to work one Saturday a month.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• General computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan accounts in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage incoming phone calls, providing exceptional administrative support and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare and review new loan documentation with a high degree of accuracy to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal bank policies.
• Process and post loan payments accurately within the core banking system and bank-partnered payment platforms.
• Calculate payoff quotes, process payoff checks, and prepare closed loan documents.
• Audit daily data entry for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform general administrative duties and generate various loan-related documents.
