This role provides leadership and support to processing and underwriting staff by assigning workloads, monitoring productivity and quality, conducting coaching and training, and ensuring compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The supervisor also serves as an escalation point for complex applications, merchant inquiries, documentation issues, and operational challenges, while providing hands-on underwriting and processing support as needed to maintain operational excellence and customer service standards.Hybrid and remote work schedules are available. To qualify for a remote work schedule, you must be willing to work nights and reside in the Westlake, OH area.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise evening loan processing and manual underwriting activities.Assign workloads and manage queue coverage and service levels.Review and decision applications within delegated authority as needed.Resolve escalated application, documentation, and merchant questions.Ensure decisions follow credit policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround time, and attendance.Complete quality reviews and provide coaching and feedback.Train staff on systems, procedures, and documentation requirements.Escalate material credit, fraud, staffing, or system issues.Provide direct processing and underwriting support as needed.Minimum QualificationsMust be local or willing to relocate to the Westlake, OH area.High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.3 years of consumer lending, processing, underwriting, or related experience.Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.Experience reviewing applications and resolving documentation issues.Equivalent education and experience may be considered.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
