Job summary

North Star Community Credit Union is seeking a hands-on, people-first lending leader who is energized by developing talent, driving performance, and delivering meaningful member outcomes in consumer lending. You’ll mentor, coach, and train lending staff on policies and best practices, manage complex loans from interview to close, and ensure decisions reflect sound credit judgment and compliance.

Compelling portfolio management, proactive delinquency oversight, and collaboration with marketing

Qualifications

• Experience leading consumer lending teams or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations and risk management.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff while delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and train lending staff on consumer lending policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage complex consumer loans from start to finish, including interviewing, underwriting, approval, and closing.
• Ensure loan decisions reflect sound credit judgment and compliance.
