Job summary

BancFirst, Shawnee, Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced underwriter for consumer loans to manage and grow a quality loan portfolio in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves developing consumer real estate, consumer and construction loans, and promoting BancFirst services through cross-selling while maintaining strict compliance and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred or applicable experience will be considered.
• Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending and Truth-in-Lending
• Knowledge of loan processing/collection software required
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens and reading reports

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 5 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
