Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, BA Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a lender, strong interpersonal skills, strong PC skills, previous banking experience.
• Knowledge: Excellent customer relations and communication skills, planning and organizational skills, good decision-making skills, excellent writing skills, training and oral presentation skills, customer service orientation, initiative.

Responsibilities

• Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes financial data to determine credit worthiness.
• Establishes and negotiates terms under which credit will be extended including costs, repayment method, schedule and collateral.
• Approves up to the Lending Authority amount.
• Monitors loan repayments and collects past-due accounts.
• Develops new business by contacting prospects and customers; cross-sells bank services.
• Participates in community affairs to increase Bank visibility and new business opportunities.
