Job summary

PayPal is hiring a Senior Manager of Consumer Finance to lead forecasting, KPI analysis, and financial planning for PayPal's Consumer business. This role partners with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Analytics, and other Finance teams to drive high-quality insights for executive decision-making across multiple time zones.

You will oversee month-end close, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting of operating expenses, while ensuring adherence to GAAP and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP and cross-functional teams across global locations.
• Build and retain a strong, effective team.
• Oversee month-end close and reporting of operating expenses and contra.
• Drive process improvements within the team and business.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to leadership to drive results.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and corporate policies.
• Collaborate with leadership on risk awareness for projects.
• Develop insights to provide finance visibility into risk areas.
• Identify opportunities for improvement with finance and technology partners.
• Prepare and present forecasts to senior leaders.
• Track results against forecasts and budgets.
