Job summary

Key People seeks a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney to join its nationally integrated practice. You will represent banks, lenders, loan servicers, and financial institutions in a broad range of consumer financial services disputes.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and at least three years of substantive litigation experience, with preference for experience defending FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA matters.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience in consumer financial services.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, respond to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters.
