The Recruiting Hive is recruiting for a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney in a premier AmLaw 100 firm. The attorney will handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation for banks and financial institutions, across multiple US offices.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar status, and at least three years of substantive litigation experience, with a background in FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA considerations a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, or TCPA advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
