Job summary

The CCS Companies is seeking a Consumer Correspondence Representative to review and process consumer communications received by mail, fax, email, or web following department procedures. The role includes handling bankruptcy documents and verifying account data for credit disputes.

You will respond to disputes via E-Oscar, submit corrections to bureaus, and maintain accurate documentation while staying compliant with FDCPA and state laws. A stable full-time schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Prefer two or more years of previous work experience, with a background in collections.
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual/multilingual skills desirable.
• Successful completion of a company sponsored two-week training program.
• Ability to maintain a predictable and consistent full-time work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes consumer correspondence received via mail, fax, email, or web as per department procedures.
• Reviews and processes incoming bankruptcy documents as per department procedures.
• Conducts reasonable investigations for consumer credit reporting disputes, verifying account data such as payments posted and demographics.
• Responds to credit disputes via E-Oscar and submits corrections or updates to credit bureaus via E-Oscar.
