Epson, a global technology leader focused on enriching lives and creating a better world through engineered precision, exceptional people, enduring partnerships and a commitment to the environment, is seeking an exceptional Account Manager - Consumer to join our Sales team. You will be responsible for building Epson top-line sales by meeting and exceeding sales quotas and increasing Epson brand awareness and market penetration, developing, and coordinating sales activity to Key Retailers and Authorized Epson Resellers within a defined territory, and overseeing all facets of reseller account and relationship management.

This position is remote. It is preferred that the Account Manager reside in the Seattle area.

What you will be doing:

  • Meets or exceeds sales and product objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available.
  • Collaborates with Manager in development of sales plan.
  • Establishes a strong Epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level.
  • Interacts with all appropriate internal and external customers to ensure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the customer.
  • Motivates all customer personnel to support sales and marketing efforts of Epson products.
  • Identifies and understands the customer’s needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs, and services.
  • Designs and creates marketing programs consistent with corporate strategies that result in achievement of sales quotas and objectives within defined territory.
  • Ensures that marketing funds are focused on programs that achieve desired product mix and ROI and considers impact on all Epson channels of distribution.
  • Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers.
  • Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers’ purchases and other business activities in the near and distant
  • future.
  • Participates in trade shows, reseller seminars and sales meetings.
  • Identifies sales training needs of account and prepares training in conjunction with the Sales Training Department.
  • Resolves customer issues promptly and thoroughly; escalates issues to manager as appropriate.
  • Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts and sell-through/inventory by account.
  • Adheres to all administrative policies and procedures.
  • Operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Submits weekly activity/call reports.

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Experience working with Amazon as a vendor or working at Amazon as a vendor manager. (5+ years)
  • Proven success as sales account manager
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Up to 50% travel

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $143,078.96 and $178,848.34. This position will have a 65/35 commission plan. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
