Consulting Services Sales Manager - Southeastern U.S.

About The Job

The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a Services Sales Manager to join us remotely in the Southeastern U.S. In this role, you will develop, cultivate, and manage relationships within key enterprise and commercial customer accounts. You will oversee the successful sales of critical consulting services projects, learning and technical account management services portfolio, and collaborate with the delivery organization to ensure successful delivery of projects from kickoff to closeout in support of future sales. The selling process includes pipeline generation through customer and account team engagement, determining scope details and pricing alongside account team, services pre-sales, and architect teams. You will also lead and partner with delivery to monitor project progress, ensuring it meets customer expectations and contractual agreements for extensions, cross-sell, and upsell. Additionally, you will identify and qualify new services business opportunities and work with Red Hat’s sales organization to develop account strategies that promote revenue growth. As a Territory Services Manager, you will partner with Red Hat’s account sales representatives to guide consulting sales opportunities from qualification to closing, managing all assigned projects and resources to meet revenue, margin, and booking goals. A solid foundation of technical knowledge, sales skills, and project management experience is essential to collaborate effectively with delivery teams and support ongoing sales efforts.

What You Will Do
  • Manage a territory comprising large enterprise and commercial accounts.
  • Sell Red Hat's services and solutions tailored to customer business requirements.
  • Grow your territory and pipeline through internal partnerships with the sales team and partner programs.
  • Design and implement high-impact technical and business solutions focusing on core Red Hat technologies such as OpenShift, Ansible AAP, OpenShift AI, RHEL, among others.
  • Provide accurate revenue and booking forecasts; maintain awareness of your book of business daily and communicate effectively with sales and services teams.
  • Manage booking goals across practices, meeting revenue and margin targets.
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects in collaboration with delivery teams to support ongoing sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with delivery, project, and customer management teams to foster a culture of collaboration.

Within 12 months, you will be expected to:

  • Sell and manage complex, multi-product solutions across IT and business lines.
  • Consistently grow your revenue base to meet quarterly targets.
  • Manage escalations independently.
  • Assist in negotiating master services agreements and statements of work with customers and legal teams.
What You Will Bring
  • Proven, proactive, and persistent sales experience with successful results.
  • Knowledge of technical or business consulting practices.
  • Experience working with demanding customers and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Experience in project delivery and holistic selling approaches.
  • Ability to architect complex solutions using multiple offerings and technologies.
  • Familiarity with sales and project methodologies.
  • Understanding of customer needs in application development and cloud solutions.
  • Willingness to engage with customers daily and share successes publicly to support sales motions.

The salary range for this position is $216,990.00 - $358,000.00, based on qualifications. Actual offers will depend on experience and skills.
