Cognizant is seeking a Consulting Principal - Manufacturing to lead end-to-end engagements at the intersection of business and technology for manufacturing clients. You will drive transformation across the value chain, grow the consulting footprint, and collaborate with cross-functional Cognizant teams.

You will lead engagements, sell and deliver solutions, manage client relationships, and mentor teams while shaping AI-led strategies for industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Established track record of selling and delivering consulting engagements with excellent customer-facing capabilities.
• Extensive experience working in the manufacturing segment.
• Strong program management expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technology and architecture imperatives for consulting and IT transformation deals.
• Experience working with C-level executives at client organizations.

About The Role

As a Consulting Principal - Manufacturing, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end consulting engagements for manufacturing clients at the intersection of business and technology, driving business transformation across the manufacturing value chain and helping grow our consulting footprint. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing & Logistics consulting practice team and work collaboratively with cross-functional Cognizant teams, account leadership, service lines, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Lead end-to-end consulting engagements across strategy, operating model transformation, process optimization, and digital initiatives, and drive business transformation across the manufacturing value chain to grow consulting footprint and revenue.
• Sell, lead, and deliver consulting engagements while influencing senior executives and managing client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide strong program management, collaborating with clients and cross-functional Cognizant teams to deliver process improvements and achieve client objectives.
• Drive AI-led discussions and workshops, helping manufacturing clients (Industrial, Process, and Diversified) navigate AI with tailored solutions for their specific needs.
• Lead and mentor consulting teams of consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts, and drive the thought leadership agenda through white papers, workshops, and webinars.

Work model

What You Must Have To Be Considered

• Proven ability to influence senior executives and develop high‑performing consulting teams.
• Experience serving Industrial, Process, and Diversified manufacturing clients with tailored solutions.
• A Bachelor's degree; an MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred.
