Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to plan and perform complex technical and engineering duties with some latitude for unreviewed actions and minimal supervision.

You will lead project phases and teams, conduct root cause analyses, prepare design changes and engineering reports, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety and personnel safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 9 years related work experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field plus 11 years experience.
• Educational experience equivalent to an Associate's degree plus 11 years related work.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical or engineering evaluations.
• Perform root cause analyses.
• Independently assess and resolve potential conditions adverse to quality.
• Prepare complex design changes not requiring Professional Engineers Registration.
• Prepare engineering and technical reports.
• Prepare involved 10CFR50.59 screens and evaluations.
• Develop and conduct training.
• Perform tasks in accordance with established expectations for nuclear safety and personnel safety.
• Serves a lead role on projects, phases of projects, teams, processes, or programs.
