About Us

MSS Business Transformation Advisory (MSSBTA) is a management consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations become more successful. We guide organizations to achieve their desired outcomes by enhancing organizational performance by aligning people, processes, and technology.

Love where you work and build a career that makes a real impact. Join our team of driven professionals and thrive in an environment where your success is our priority.

What You’ll Do

As a Consulting Manager, you’ll lead client workstreams and transformation initiatives across a variety of business challenges. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, connect strategy to execution, and work alongside clients to move complex initiatives forward.

You will:

  • Lead client workstreams and projects involving business transformation, process improvement, technology implementation, organizational change, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Translate business needs and strategic objectives into practical plans, requirements, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bring structure and discipline to complex initiatives by establishing clear plans, governance, roles, milestones, risks, and decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate productive conversations with executives, operational leaders, functional teams, technology partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while maintaining focus on client outcomes.
  • Support technology and system implementations, including ERP or similar enterprise solutions, by helping clients navigate business requirements, process decisions, organizational readiness, vendor relationships, implementation, and adoption.
  • Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, employee experience, and organizational performance.
  • Provide thoughtful, independent oversight of vendors and implementation partners, helping clients maintain accountability for scope, commitments, quality, risk, and results.
  • Recognize emerging issues, navigate competing priorities, and help teams make sound decisions that keep work moving forward.
  • Build trusted client relationships and provide practical, objective guidance throughout an engagement.
  • Collaborate with and support other MSSBTA consultants, sharing knowledge, coaching team members, and contributing to strong, consistent client delivery.
  • Contribute ideas, tools, and lessons learned that strengthen MSSBTA’s capabilities and approach.
What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone with strong consulting instincts, sound judgment, and the versatility to work across different clients, industries, and types of engagements.

You’ll bring:

  • Meaningful experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, workstreams, or transformation initiatives.
  • The ability to lead work independently while knowing when to engage others, **escalate** risks, or bring in additional expertise.
  • Experience with technology implementation, business transformation, process improvement, organizational change, or similarly complex initiatives. Direct ERP experience is valuable, but experience leading comparable enterprise-wide implementations or transformations may be equally relevant.
  • Strong project management fundamentals and the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • The ability to understand complex business processes and quickly learn unfamiliar organizations, functions, industries, and technologies.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively with executives, operational leaders, technical teams, vendors, and frontline employees.
  • The ability to see the broader business objective while translating it into practical actions and achievable next steps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, adaptability, and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to balance process, people, technology, risk, and business outcomes when making recommendations.
  • A collaborative, low-ego consulting style and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • A commitment to accountability, quality, and delivering meaningful value for clients.
Experience That May Be Helpful

We value relevant experience, but we are equally interested in how you think, lead, learn, and solve problems. Helpful experience may include:

  • Management consulting or client-facing advisory work.
  • ERP, HCM, CRM, financial systems, or other enterprise technology implementations.
  • Business process improvement, operating-model transformation, or organizational change.
  • Vendor selection, RFP development, implementation-partner oversight, or technology evaluation.
  • Project or program management credentials such as PMP.
  • Change management, Human-Centered Design, design thinking, Lean Six Sigma, or other transformation methodologies.
  • Experience working across multiple industries, functions, or types of client engagements.

  • Join our purpose-driven team, dedicated to empowering our clients' triumphs and accomplishments.
  • Culture That Counts: Immerse yourself in an extraordinary company culture that's more than just work – it's a collaborative, vibrant community.
