Vizient, Inc. seeks a senior consultant to lead complex Surgical Services and Physician Preference Items (PPI) engagements across discovery through implementation. You will synthesize clinical, operational, and financial data to guide evidence-based strategies and influence senior client decisions.
You will mentor others, build trusted relationships with C-suite leaders, and drive adoption of Vizient tools and analytics to deliver measurable outcomes while traveling as needed.

Summary: In this role, you will lead complex consulting engagements that improve performance across Surgical Services, with a focus on Physician Preference Items (PPI). You will apply deep subject-matter expertise, structured problem solving, data interpretation, and consultative judgment to identify improvement opportunities, shape evidence-based strategies, influence senior client decisions, and deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes. You will guide engagements from discovery through implementation, serve as a trusted advisor to senior healthcare leaders, and strengthen consulting capabilities through mentorship, thought leadership, and continuous improvement of consulting solutions.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
