Job description

When you’re the best, we’re the best. We instill an environment where employees feel engaged, satisfied and able to contribute their unique skills and talents while living and working as their authentic selves. We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future. Summary: In this role, you will translate complex supply cost, utilization, and clinical data into actionable insights that support savings identification, performance measurement, and client decision‑making. You will partner with consultants and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely analyses, identify opportunities, develop compelling analytical stories, provide category insights, and improve repeatable analytical processes that support scalable client delivery.

Responsibilities: Analyze supply cost, utilization, and clinical data across Physician Preference Items (PPI), including Surgical Services, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and Med‑Surg categories, to identify cost reduction, standardization, and utilization opportunities. Support consultant teams with analytical insights that inform client strategies, savings opportunities, performance measurement, and engagement outcomes. Execute benchmarking, gap analysis, contract and conversion analysis, supplier bid reviews, and ad hoc analytical investigations. Translate complex analyses into clear visuals, summaries, presentations, and narratives tailored to client and internal audiences. Apply analytical judgment to identify meaningful trends, insights, risks, and opportunities that support informed decision‑making. Serve as a subject‑matter resource on healthcare supply analytics, PPI and Med‑Surg service line dynamics, clinical variation concepts, and analytical best practices. Guide less experienced analysts by sharing functional knowledge, analytical approaches, and delivery best practices. Partner with internal teams to strengthen analytical standards, documentation, consistency, and repeatability of deliverables. Validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity while proactively communicating assumptions, limitations, and risks that may affect interpretation. Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, or automate recurring analyses and reporting processes.

Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. 5 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, and proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with macros preferred. Experience with healthcare supply cost, utilization, or clinical data related to PPI, Surgical Services, and/or Med‑Surg service lines preferred. Knowledge of service line analytics supporting savings identification, utilization optimization, standardization, and reduction of unwarranted variation preferred. Experience with SQL, Access, or other data query tools preferred. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work within established timelines. Willingness to travel.
