Job Details

• Job Type: PRN/1099
• Location: Estudillo Oral Surgery & Implantology, San Leandro, CA, and additional Bay Area locations
• Schedule: 1 to 4 days per week, typically 9:00am – 3:00pm, schedule subject to change

Summary

We are looking for a Consulting Dentist to join our Bay Area OSM team two days a week to provide Denti-Cal consultations.

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate patients' oral health needs, discuss treatment options, and develop treatment plans for Denti-Cal covered care.
2. Perform general exams and clarify airway issues.
3. Review x-rays and discuss procedure risks and anesthesia with patients.
4. Maintain excellent chair-side manner.

Required Qualifications

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
2. Valid California dental license.
3. NBDE Board Certification.
4. Willingness to obtain Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal credentials if not already held.
5. Experience with Denti-Cal patients.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Ability to provide patient care under stressful circumstances.
8. Professional appearance and attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WinOms software.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to stand up to 80% of the time.
• Physical ability to drive, sit, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
