Monthly Pay: $4,299 - $5,802 USD per month
Summary:
Unclear client requests, changing meeting arrangements, and outstanding project inputs make up the daily coordination work supporting consulting engagements. This role organizes information, timelines, and communication so consultants can focus on business advisory work and clients understand their next steps. The position sits within the consulting delivery team, works under a consulting team lead, and collaborates with consultants, project managers, and client contacts. This is a fully remote, desk-based opportunity to work from home in Minnesota, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review incoming client emails and internal task requests, identify the consulting engagement involved, and organize each request by owner, urgency, and next action.
- Check requests for clear objectives, required background information, expected deliverables, and target dates; ask the consultant or client contact to clarify missing details.
- Update client contact information and engagement activity in a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, keeping entries factual, current, and easy to locate.
- Maintain engagement task lists in a Project management tool such as Asana, recording assigned owners, dependencies, target dates, and agreed changes without setting consulting recommendations.
- Arrange client discussions and internal reviews using a Scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly, confirming attendance, meeting purpose, and preparation needs before each session.
- Prepare meeting agendas from consultant input, organize reference materials, and capture decisions and assigned actions so participants understand what happens next.
- Coordinate the movement of client inputs and draft deliverables between consultants and project managers, checking that the requested materials reach the correct reviewer.
- Follow up on outstanding inputs and approaching deadlines; escalated conflicting priorities, unclear scope, or likely delays to the project manager or consulting team lead.
- Send clear progress updates to approved client contacts, communicate confirmed next steps, and direct requests for business recommendations to the responsible consultant.
- Confirm completion with the engagement owner, update remaining tasks, and organize handover notes; quality is judged by accuracy, turnaround, complete notes, and dependable follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- About 1-2 years of experience in consulting coordination, professional services support, or related project coordination preferred.
- Understanding of how consulting engagements move from initial request through assigned activities, deliverable reviews, and completion.
- Familiarity with client contact systems, shared task lists, and calendar tools; ability to learn the example platforms used for coordination.
- Ability to distinguish coordination questions from requests requiring a consultant's business judgment and route each appropriately.
- Clear written and verbal communication for client updates, meeting arrangements, clarification requests, and concise internal handovers.

- Fully remote work from home in a desk-based consulting coordination role.
- Structured onboarding and training on the example systems named above, covering client updates, task coordination, and meeting arrangements.
- Regular check-ins with the consulting team lead to review priorities, discuss questions, and receive practical feedback.
- Opportunities to build consulting engagement knowledge, deliverables coordination, professional client communication, and project delivery support skills.
- Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), maternity leave, and stipends.
