Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent 1099 life insurance sales professional who can work entirely remotely from Cape Coral, FL. You will manage your own pipeline of people who have requested coverage, conduct discovery conversations, and match options to client needs.

Using carrier quoting tools, you’ll submit applications and chase underwriting through to issuance or close. You’ll rely on CRM discipline and strong follow-up to keep opportunities advancing.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight.
• Strong follow-up habits to move cases forward.
• Experience using web-based quoting platforms and CRM.
• Legal to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

If you've sold before, you know results come from process. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role lets you apply that discipline to families who already asked about coverage.

What you'll actually do

• Work your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change
