Consultant Relations Principal - Remote
Job Description
The Consultant Relations Principal is responsible for building trusted, strategic relationships with key consultant and Blues plan partners to enhance Prime’s reputation, broaden market influence, and support profitable sales growth. This role partners across internal teams to position Prime’s capabilities and deliver a superior consultant and client experience, resulting in increased RFP activity, improved win rates, and greater account retention.
Responsibilities
- Network, establish and maintain trusted, strategic partnerships with key customers, including C-suite, to broaden Prime’s market penetration and enhance Prime’s reputation within the healthcare community.
- Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive consultant Go-to-Market pipeline and long-term sales strategy, including the Prime Value story.
- Develop and implement structured consultant engagement plans, such as quarterly meetings, advisory boards, webinars, and educational materials.
- Leverage analytics to create strategic plans tailored to prospects' marketplace situations and business issues.
- Serve as a bridge connecting external consultants to Prime’s internal experts and solutions.
- Collaborate with Blues plan account teams to support local market strategies and business development.
- Gather feedback from consultants and Blues plans to identify market trends and inform product strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 8 years of sales and account management experience in healthcare, PBM, pharmacy, health care consulting, or health insurance industry.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience with benefits underwriting, Blues plans, and consultant engagement strategies.
- Experience with pharmacy benefits and employee benefits brokerage or consulting.
Physical Demands
- Travel up to 50%.
- Prolonged sitting, handling, talking, hearing, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required.
